Bloody Butcher

Bloody Butcher sweetcorn is a wonderfully sweet corn that not only looks fantastic with its long red and blue cobs but is also very versatile. Perfect for grilling or boiling. Growing:
Seed rate: approx. 8-10 seeds per running metre.
Sowing time:
*pre-sow indoors 2-4 weeks before planting out. Develops very quickly if the plants grow in a greenhouse. Use a deep plug or pot.
*sow direct from mid-May. Should be covered with fleece.
Sowing depth: 3-5 cm
Minimum germination temperature: approx. 16°C. However, it is recommended to sow untreated seed only when the soil temperature is at least 18°C
Germination time at normal soil temperature: approx. 6-10 days
Plant spacing: approx. 25 cm
Row spacing: approx. 70-100 cm
