Sow indoors in seed compost and keep warm (20-22°C) in a propagator. Move to a bright but cooler spot once the seedlings are up. Can also be sown directly outdoors under plastic film or fleece once the risk of night frost has passed. Does best in a sheltered position and needs a good supply of water.
