Aurora – a colourful chilli for the windowsill
What makes Aurora special
Aurora is a fantastic little ornamental chilli that gives a sparkling play of colour from a single plant. The pods are also edible – with good heat and fresh flavour.

The name Aurora refers to the northern lights, and with all the colour shifts from purple, orange and yellow to red it is easy to see why.
Appearance and growth habit
The plant is low, about 40 cm tall, with violet touches in the leaves and purple flowers. The pods grow upwards and change colour through several stages, often with different colours on the plant at the same time.
