Rocoto Pack
In the Rocoto Pack you get three different lovely Rocoto varieties in different colours and shapes
Rocoto is grown mainly in the Andes in Peru but also in Bolivia. Rocoto is the Peruvian name for Mexican manzano. It is also called levanta los muertos (raise the dead) and gringo killer, and in Mexico yellow rocoto is called canario. Ripens from green to yellow or red. Contains black seeds.
Rocoto has thick, juicy flesh with a rich flavour. The fruit is used in salsas and ceviches. In traditional cooking it is also used puréed or stuffed. Try a hollowed-out rocoto, stuffed with cheese and gratinated.
Sow in moist seed compost and keep warm.
For best results, soak the seeds in Growhelper for 12–24 hours before sowing
Each pack includes 6 seeds of each variety
